Permanent, effective transformation can only be achieved if there has been context provided to explain the real business reasons for change. This implies that:
- the organisation as a whole understands this context, and the (business) rationale; for change
- the change is planned, executed and managed in line with this understanding;
- A permanent capability to deal with subsequent waves of disruption is established, and embedded in the business.
